In compressive sensing of images Digital MicroMirror Device (DMD) is used to implement the sensing matrix. DMD works in two states, on and off. This can implement a binary sensing matrix. How is a non-binary sensing matrix implemented in practice?? Can DMD be used to implement the non-binary sensing matrix? If so, how?
You could print a semi-transparent mask (so that you have something in the middle of 0 and 1) for coded video compressive sensing.
The other way around is to implement multiple DMDs with multiple light splitting devices. So that, instead of having a single Binary mask, you have multiple binary masks and mixed results to have a similar impact as the integer mask.
I could not find the paper, but sure someone did a similar thing.
Thank you Thuong Nguyen Canh sir. I have been trying to find ways to use multiple DMDs to get real mask but without luck. I need to implement a real sensing matrix with values in between 0 and 1. I would be grateful if you could point me to some similar work.
