Can a blood donor be deferred due to recently receiving a vaccine? If so, is there a specific type of vaccine and is there a time period wherein a blood donor cannot donate? What will happen if the patient wasn't deferred?
I agreed Ghassan Aljazayrly answer. such as viral disease person yes he/ she can not donate blood to in other person.
Therefore, anyone undergoing vaccination against viral infection is essentially deferred for 28 days after the last dose, which means that he or she cannot donate for 56 days.
In the case of recently receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, the person may be deferred. They must wait for 2 weeks before being able to donate blood.

Deferral from blood donation depends on the type of vaccine being received and on the rules and regulations of the blood bank concerning blood donation.
Consider the COVID-19 , MMR, and Meningococcal Polysaccharide vaccinations, as an example. Those who received the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson/Janssen COVID-19 vaccination are deferred for two weeks before they could donate blood. The same goes with Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccine as they also have 2 weeks deferral period. On the other hand, Meningococcal Polysaccharide Vaccine doesn’t have a deferral period, as long as they are symptom-free, thus recipients might provide blood right away.
In conclusion, deferral regulations are essential for ensuring the health of donors and recipients, as well as the safety and effectiveness of the blood supply.
