I want to get rid of fungal spores in the protein sample extracted from fungi, so can these filter papers help me?

In protein extraction process, all spores of fungi are removed. Nevertheless, if you have spore contamination, 0.45 micrometer filter removes all of them. The other filter (0.22) can even remove bacterial contamination.

Hi: You can use both of them , I will remove fungal spore from your materials.
Alternatively, you can centrifuge the sample at full speed in a table microfuge, you will pellet the fungal structures and will keep the protein in the supernatant. Good luck!

0,45 micron for spores; 0,20 or 0,22 micron for bacterial forms.
0,22 micron filter will remove everything. It is a good way of keeping things completely sterile.
