Calculation of R Factor of RUSLE using Arnoldus (1977) formula?

Hello all,

I want to use the correct Arnoldus, (1977) formula for R factor.

Pi, is defined as rainfall for the i-th month

P is defined as annuall rainfall

I have precipitation data for 23 years, from CRU TS v.4.07 as a NetCDF file in ArcGIS.

What I don't really know how to do it, is how I can directly calculate the above formula in the raster calculator? Without having to make hundreds of rasters (1 for each month of the year, for over 20 years), to obtain the precipitation for each month, as formula asks for it.

I had obtained, the total average rainfall, for 23 years, which ranges from 11,510 to 8,316 mm. Also, the average, which ranges from 518 to 424
