Biosurfactants have the same properties as synthetic ones. They differ only in that they are isolated from substances of animal or plant origin.
1. Biosurfactants can reduce surface tension when used as stabilizing agents for nanoparticles.
2.When nanoparticles are synthesized in water-in-oil microemulsion, they are synthesized in the form of nanoparticles of metals, salts. It is necessary that biosurfactants form stable microemulsions.
Achmad Arifiyanto Note where the word 'surfactant' originates: 'surface active agent'. That should give you a clue that surface tension is reduced in the presence of such materials whether in external solution or on the surface of a particle.

In other words, nanomaterial products comprise surface materials by biosurfactants, the biosurfactant's capacity is simply as a stabilizer and not as a surface tension-reducing agent at the end of the product being synthesized right? So the properties will only be as a complement material when interacting with targeted- cells?
