I'm looking at the effect of cannabidiol on a certain process in cells. In my first trial, cannabidiol had a small effect. In my second trial, the same concentration had a much larger effect.
One explanation that can account for this difference is that the concentration in the first trial might have been done incorrectly and was actually lower than the second trial. I still have samples of the dilutions I made (in DMSO). Is there a way to check what the concentration is in my solutions to be sure they are the same?

Yet another link, but try doing a search for cannabidiol and quantitative analysis to find additional methods. This application uses UHPLC (ultra-high performance liquid chromatography) with MSD (mass selective detection). To do your work you might need access to specialized equipment, and a chemist to help you. Interdepartmental collaboration, if it applies in your case, can be good.

Are your preparations protected from light? Since the new preparation had a much larger effect you may need to consider the time lapse between the make up of your solutions and the use of your solutions. You might want to do a literature search on the stability of your preparations. Just look at the chemical structure, it does have a fair number of double bonds.
Accept you must have a made a mistake (either in the 1st or second trial exp) and do it again until you get reproducible results. Don't waste time trying to figure it out, I'm guessing you aren't a chemist so just move on....
