Beam is resting on partial foundation at both ends. The partial foundation length is same at the both ends. Suppose the length of partial foundation is delta (very small like 0.1 m). Now one wants to analyze the frequency characteristics of a beam resting on partial foundation with different boundary conditions. The stiffness of the spring of a partial foundation is very large (147E06 N/m). What will the effect of these high stiffness spring on the frequencies of different boundary conditions? Will it be no much change on frequencies of different boundary condition because of high stiffness of spring?
I analyzed the frequency characteristics for different boundary conditions. If I change the partial foundation length, frequency for one particular boundary condition is increasing. But the frequencies of different boundary conditions is almost same.
