If part of the point of submitting preprints to ResearchGate, OSF, and other sites, is to get feedback, we probably shouldn't be limiting ourselves to posting the final manuscript, but also earlier drafts But how rough can these drafts be and still be acceptable to push to these repositories?

I like the idea of doing a skeleton draft, where maybe there's a paragraph or two per main topic that will each be expanded into full discussions. It's not enough to properly justify the points, but it is enough to give the readers an idea of what you're doing so that they can provide feedback and also become aware of the type of research being done.
