I was glad to learn that most of you feel themselves quite comfortably in OUR PRESENT. But do not you think that the Natural Curiosity Ingrained in all of us - is calling for (let it be short) a trip in time (?)

As the traveler in time in what period of human history you would prefer to remain forever ?
For me is 1st century BC & AD in Israel i.e. pre & post Jesus Christ period so that I can witness Him like others during that time.
If time travel was possible there would be vast numbers of times and places I would like to visit. I would however wish to remain now, in the second decade of the 21st century.
For all its faults it is a better time than by far any other in history.

I like where I am, place and time, so I would not change them. I don't know what future holds for me, but that's another story. Everything depends upon the GOD. Then GOD is everything.

I agree, dear Leonid. Time traveling is theoretically and (possibly) experientially a most appealing experience! I'm in!
How to travel in time without time-machine :
In 1986-87 as an Invited Scientist I worked at the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry ("Macro") in Prague. From time to time - sitting at a cup of coffee after lunch I was telling my coworkers: ""I am a time-traveler; I came from your Future"" (indeed, it has passed 70 years since Russia started building the communist society; but only about 40 years - since it happened to Czechoslovakia) but - in reply I heard only obscene words about that future which I friendly offered--predicted them.

Is there any empirical evidence showing time travel is possible? From Internet & YouTube, there are photos / video showing objects like mobile phones etc. appeared / someones emerging from no where etc. as evidence of time traveling. Do we have any more concrete evidence like interviewing the time traveler, how they arrive / return, any evidence they brought back etc.? Feel free to share if you any information. Thanks.

I have spent my entire life in the present and am content to stay where I am.
It has passed about 2 years since this subject was discussed at RG. The time is flying fast. And now thinking about the travels in time i would like to make just a very short trip, say 40-50 years ahead - to meet my grand-kids - to see what will they be. Right now all of the 3 of them demonstrate great talents - both in music and math.
For some reason, everyone concentrated on their own time travel. And if we change the question? How about guests from the past or the future? Are you ready to accept them? Would you like to meet your own grandfather in a few moments (my grandfather ended life in 1939, believing in a bright communist future). I think I would have nothing to say to him.
I was born on earth and so far it has being happy on average to warrant continuity. Anyway, am not going anywhere. This is where God said it is going to be for good or for bad!
