Thank you for your answers. However, I have just noticed something I forgot to specify in my question - I'm looking for studies conducted in human coronary microvessels. The PIs of the studies you mentioned, Shaun Sandow and Scott Earley, I have published with previously and have several current projects with. They are both unaware of any such anatomy-function studies carried out in human coronary arterioles, although Shaun has done such work in human mesentery, and Scott in human cerebral. However, apart from Sherf et al 1977 Am J Cardiol (they found trans-IEL projections in the terminal coronary arterioles), I am struggling to find literature on this specific vessel type. Sorry for the lack of detail in my question, I just forgot to specify the vessel. Many thanks again, Dave
