We perform multiplex PCRs routinely and it would be more convenient if we could store the primer mixes (10-29 primer pairs) in the fridge 4-8degC instead of the freezer to minimise freeze-thaw cycles. Do you know of any additives that could be added to increase the shelf-life of the primers? The primer stocks are stored in TE and diluted to working stocks with nuclease free water which are used for the primer mixes.
