I am trying to find axillary and mandibular lymph nodes in naive mice, which is turning out to be more difficult than imagined. Therefore, I would like to know if there are some possibilities of using dyes to identify these (draining) Lymph nodes, that would not interfere when we further use the homogenised lymph nodes and organs to perform ELISA or Flow Cytometry based Multiplex assay for cytokines and so on.

It is a relatively simple matter to find both unless you are working with Ragko mice. For the axillary, after you deglove the mouse, the axillary nodes are found in the armpit, highly visible when the mouse is on its back. The mandiblar ate visible if you snip the skin to the very chin of the mouse and peal back the skin. Sometomes you need to tease away the salivary glands, but nodes are lighter in color and rubbery in consistency.
