Try the Rokeach Dogmatism Scale. It is a measure of extreme attitudes regardless of direction.

I completely agree with Carlos that you should take a look at the Van Hiel et al. paper in Political Psychology. There's also an interesting paper on left-wing authoritarianism in Eastern European countries by de Regt, Mortelmans and Smits (2011) in Communist and Post-Communist Studies.

Thank You for taking part in this thread. I have found this paper on RG and it contains recent discoveries in this field. It cannot be overlooked.

Reading through the papers, one scale looks exceptionally promising. It is scale called “Left Wing Authoritarianism Scale” (Altemyer, 1996). Sadly, I simply cannot get hold of full version of this scale. Could any of You, please provide me with the full wording of this method? I would be very grateful.

Altemeyer's (1996) LWA scale has sufficient internal consistency, but van Hiel et al. (2006, p. 773) have argued that the scale suffers from two problematic features: (1) "Altemeyer did not include adherents of extreme (left-wing) movements in his sample", and; (2) "[T]here are some conceptual problems with Altemeyer’s LWA scale. Particularly the concept of left-wing conventionalism is unclear."

In response, van Hiel et al. (2006) developed a new LWA scale to test the presence of left-wing authoritarianism in Western Europe. Their work showed that the LWA scale has adequate internal consistency and good construct validity. You'll find the 8 items of this new LWA scale in Table 1, along with information about instructions to respondents and the factorial validity of the scale in the rest of the paper (which I've attached here for you).
