I am working with neurospheres cryosection, fixed and embedded in OCT. When I try to stain the tissue sections they come off from the slides. I have used polarized slides, but they couldn't hol the tissue until I finish the staining process. I have also tried the paraformaldehyde fixation and the acteone one but they don't help me.
Are there any other kinds of coated slides or any methods to hold the tissues on the slides?

I use Silane coated slides from Super Frost Plus, and i never had any problem with my sections , i do in situs with them and they remain well fixed till end , try it.

Yes, maybe the sections are not really dried... The sections are stored at -20°C and I let them dry only one hour. Next time I will leave them O.N at RT and perform the staining the day after.
I will also try to use different coated slides.

I'm working with ganglion slices using super frost coated by APES, its works very well.
Coat protocol:
5 min aceton
5 min 2% APES in Aceton
5 min Aceton
5 min dest. Water
RT or 37 oC dry
let slides dry before rehydrate (normaly 15-30min)
