I am studying the alteration of gene expression patterns in various cancers. Currently I want to focus on specific regions of the genome that contain several oncogenes in a cluster. I just want to know are there any regions in the genome that oncogenes lie near each other like a cluster?

There are examples of amplicons (i.e. genomic amplifications) that are recurrent in various cancers that may contain several genes with putative or known oncogenic function. Therefore, you may want to focus your attention on highly recurrent genomic amplicons.
