Phaeohyphomycosis is a disease caused by dematiaceous fungi  Scedosporium prolificans which carries a high moratlity rate of about 80%, although the disease is confined to the animal knigdom, but given that it's mode of transmission or spread is by air, water, and wind, how far humans or immunocompromised patients are susceptible to this disease?

Anyone doing research on this disease?

Also, are there any other fungi which contain melanin in their cell wall?

Thanks in advance.
