For Deciduous teeth, debridement is more important to create sterilized root canal for obturation. chemical irrigation is given more importance to remove the remnants of pulp tissues from the accessory canals rather to use instrument for removal.
In deciduous teeth, chemical disinfection is more critical than extent of obturation. The level of obturation should be 1mm short of the apex. In case of clacium hydroxide based obturating material, the backflow of material tends to fill any accessory canals present like the MB2 or DB2 or a narrow isthmus between palatal and mesial or distal canals of maxillary second molars.
