Bacterial genes were isolated from soil and root nodule samples and sequenced in MiSeq using 16S and rpoB primers. Illum_rpoB1479F (5'-ACACTCTTTCCCTACACGACGCTCTTCCGATCTGATCGARACGCCGGAAGG-3') and Illum_rpoB1831R (5'-GTGACTGGAGTTCAGACGTGTGCTCTTCCGATCTTGCATGTTCGARCCCAT-3') were the rpoB primers I used for the rpoB gene. Therefore, I need a rpoB reference data set for soil and nodule samples for database comparison (aligning the rpoB sequences) and pre-clustering my sequences. My question in this regard is whether these rpoB primers are general (work for most bacterial communities) or specific to Rhizobium species alone.

Furthermore, I would be grateful if you have rpoB reference data sets or links to rpoB gene reference data for soil and nodule microorganisms (metagenome) sequence alignment.
