Are NRPSs in a gene cluster used for the production of more than one molecule in the same organism?

Hi,

I am just wondering whether NRPSs in a gene cluster are specifically used solely for the final product of that gene cluster or whether the NRPS can be utilised to produce a compound from another gene cluster too?

I am asking this from a natural perspective, not synthetic biology/heterologous expression.

If you could please provide a reference that'd be great
