Can you enhance my knowledge please by explaining the Fundamental Differences in Causality and Prediction; especially in the context of Positivist (Quantitative) Organizational Research, e.g., in the example below.

Is there any profound difference? and (if yes) how, recommend some reading material please.

A causes B and A predicts B

I request to keep the discussion under the organizational research domain Constructs while explaining, such as Leadership predicts or causes Job Satisfaction?.

What statistical analysis (Correlation, Regression etc) is appropriate to confirm prediction and/or causation?
