Remote sensing most especially high resolution data can be very useful for real estate in numerous ways e.g monitoring changes can be done if you have a temporal dataset. Yes you can integrate machine learning algorithms in extracting information from satellite imagery. Google has an algorithm that extracts building shapefile from images. Other relevant applications is to build a real estate information system which gives prospective buyers information about the amenities and cost.
can you give more info about the Google algorithm that extracts building shapefile from images?
as well how is aforementioned real estate information system ?
i will be so grateful to get help in my newly started research area
I would recommend checking this relevant study. A study extracted US building repository using DNNs. As far as I saw, such networks and methodologies are not readily available.
