I want to do experiments in mice model for mammary carcinoma but need to know which mice model good for mammary carcinoma (Swiss albino mice or Balb/c). Even I had gone through literature but studies are lacking in DMBA induced mammary carcinoma in mice model. So please suggest me which mice model good for mammary carcinoma.
1) Swiss albino mice 2) Balb/c

I suppose that your cells are from human origin. If Yes, the best way to study in vivo those cells is the xenograft model on Nud Mice with the following reference which I used for my project. NMRI- Foxn1nu/Foxn1nu

Thank you for your valuable suggestion. But unfortunately we don’t have facility for nude mice model in our animal house. That’s the reason I am doing with mice model.

Have you thought of the autochtonous mouse model of breast cancer, Her2Neu? It is a very good model, even tough it requires some time for the tumors to develop.
