If I am not mistaken about your question and contribution, you are looking for a reference paper to study related literature plus to start COMSOL FEM simulation for Kretschmann configuration. I suggest you to keep an eye on this paper:

which is related to surface plasmon resonance (SPR) based ultra-sensitive gas sensor working in visible range.

Regarding FEM simulation, you should start your COMSOL simulation step by step according to your reference paper and relevant Physics.

Hi, as I know there is not such a module in COMSOL. but two modules can be used for Surface plasmon simulation. 1. RF module 2. wave optics module. there are different examples of the surface plasmon-related problem in the COMSOL application manager that you can use.
