We think that the classical association with “rheumatic pain” and cold dampness is related to an edematization of the fibro-fatty tissue that sometimes it is encapsulated causing cutaneous neuropathic pain syndromes like “low back pain” “knee pain”.

Anybody has a theory why the fibro-fatty tissue would become edematous, it is probably related to generating heat (brown fat) and the way of balancing the water from the body with the exterior. But I can no find much information about it. Could certain hormones be related to it?

Thanks a lot

Marta
