Looking for suggestions from the literature regarding the use of and/or effectiveness of dance (of any sort) in helping people ease the pain of grief (bereavement and non-bereavement losses) - anywhere in the world. thanks!
I THINK THE FOLLOWING: DEPENDING ON WHAT TYPE OF PAIN WE SPEAK., IF WE THINK NORMALLY IN THE PAIN OF A DUEL., AFTER THE STAGES THAT SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT BY ANY PERSON: Stage of the denial. ... Stage of anger. ... Stage of negotiation ... Stage of depression. ... Stage of acceptance. ANY ACTIVITY THAT IS IN ADDITION TO THE PERSONALITY OF THE PERSON CAN HELP A LOT TO RECOVERY. WE MUST TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THAT EMOTIVE RATIONAL THERAPY IS A VERY USEFUL ERRAMENT IN THESE CASES.

I hope this might be useful for you. It covers emotions in general, not just grief.
I would start by checking evidence for effectiveness of such therapy method on: https://www.quackwatch.org/ . Also, this paper seems interesting: Remillard, Laura, "Discovering how Dance/Movement Therapy and Movement-Based Therapies Aid Children ExperiencingEmbodied Grief" (2018).Expressive Therapies Capstone Theses. 94.https://digitalcommons.lesley.edu/expressive_theses/94
There is literature available if you look at sites that discuss the ways of dealing with grief and loss from the African and South American populations.
