Eva, have you tried with an anti-CD68 antibody?. We use the Dako M0814 antibody and it works well.

Dilution: 1:1000 incubation over night at 4-8° C for DAB-stainings with the Vector ABC-Kit.

Eva, we used it in mouse brain slices and worked well. We have no experience with this antibody in cultured cells
