Any experience with producing a synthetic blend of algal-like EPS?

Algal EPS are major cause of membrane fouling and filtration efficiency drop. We would like to test the removal of this sustances in large volumes, without the need of cell cultivation. Any experience with producing a syntheric blend of algal-like EPS from bulk products (e.g. polysaccharides, proteins etc.)?
