I have two questions,
1. i got motifs form a peak file using linux desktop based software, but motifs do not have coordinates, is there any software can give me coordinates with respective Motifs.?
2. I want to use HEK293 cell lines for aging conditions. is there any method or protocol for cell line aging and using any TF for chip-seq?
For your question 2, do you mean cell senescence? Immortal cell lines like HEK293 do not senesce naturally; for that you would need normal diploid cells. But you can make immortal cells enter a state much like senescence using agents that damage DNA, such as etoposide.
I do not understand what you want to know about ChIPSeq.
yes you are right. I want to check the role of transcription factor protein in aging, for that i need to use HEK293, I think you can help me, can give me some protocol or technique or advice , I will be thankful
You can use Blat to get the coordinates, but if the motifs are short then there are likely to be multiple hits in the genome.
