AllPrep PowerFecal DNA/RNA Kit (Qiagen)

I want to use the AllPrep PowerFecal DNA/RNA Kit (Qiagen) to co-isolate microbial DNA and RNA from human samples other than feces (such as saliva, skin, etc). Has anyone tried it with successful results? If so, what are your recommendations?
