I was wondering about the poorly water soluble drug. How can I administer them to the rats by oral gavage? I have to study the pharmacokinetics of a poor- water soluble drug and I was not able to administer the whole drug to the rat. the vehicle must be water. it seems to be the drug remain in the syringe after the administration. how can I administer the whole dose without any remaining in the syringe ?

The second article is freely available as public full text on the internet (please see the attached pdf file). In the case of the first paper, three of the authors have RG profiles. Thus you can easily contact one of them via RG and request the full text. Most authors respond rather rapidly to such full text requests.

There are a few options- firstly to use super disintegrants while formulating the drug. Secondly, you can coat your drug particles with PEG, Silica, or Tweens 20 then redisperse them in water, and third, without any coating redistribute your drug in a 1% solution of tween 20 or PEG in PBS/ DI Water.
