Acetic acid conversion to ethanol by LiALh4?

How can I manage acetic acid conversion to ethanol by LiAlH4 safely? I want to do this reaction in laboratory. I have read some text about the reaction condition but I need some more detail to do it in safe.

In a fume hood. With dry ether. Try on a small volume first.This is a standard organic reaction and standard PPE is required.

Test your acetic acid for alcohol prior to the reaction and test your product for acid.
