I have a question on cohesive element. I have to define a 0.05 mm thick cohesive layer in between concrete slab and steel beam flange. I have defined a different part of cohesive element of 0.05 mm thickness.
during declaring material properties I have followed mechanical-elasticity-elastic-traction since i want to use uncoupled traction type.
the problem is that I want to know what does it mean E/Enn ? Des it mean Knn and what does it mmean G1/Ess does it mean Kss

E/Enn and G1/Ess are normal and shear stiffness of the element also known as Knn and Kss. These values should be much larger then the stiffness of substrates; usually about 50 times more. The value should not be too low to get penetration into the substrates or too high to create convergence problem. Otherwise, the effect of this value has minor effect on simulation results.

E/Enn in Abaqus means E or Enn, not E divided by Enn.
