I am simulating push-out analysis in Abaqus dynamic explicit in which I want to use restart analysis since there are many steps involved. I have a problem with restarting the job. After editing the model attributes, I want to continue the job from a specific step. Therefore I edited the Attribute and set the step and odb file to restart the job. However, after submitting the job, I got this error:
"A NODE SET WITH THE SAME NAME "ASSEMBLY_Concrete Slab-1_SET-1" DEFINED IN THE ORIGINAL ANALYSIS HAS BEEN REDEFINED IN THE CURRENT ANALYSIS. EXISTING SETS CANNOT BE MODIFIED IN A RESTART ANALYSIS."
I checked the whole model but I couldn´t find any mistake in the model (as
mentioned in the error such node sets with the same name). I was wondering
could anyone give me a hint that what can be the reason?
There is no mistake in the model. When you edit a file with set pre-defined, the nodes numbering changes. I suggest creating a new name for the new set of nodes once you edit the file before the new run.
Thanks Mohammad Alhassan for your reply. In my 1st model, I didn't define any pre-defined field. While I check in Assembly module in Set subfolder, I found a set "Concrete Slab-1_SET-1", I tried to edit the name but it seems Abaqus didn't allow me to edit it. I am really stuck in this.
