Or you can do submodelling; it all depends on what exactly you want to transfer from one smulation to another. There is a section on restarting an analysis in the manual that shows a lot of options.

I have done the similar submodeling simulation analysis.

In general, you have to create a global model. In this model, you have to extract boundary values(deformation, stress, etc.,) from the .odb file or you could export them from GUI as .CSV file (in CSV you will have: Nodes ---> BCs Values).

In the ''local' model where you want to import those boundary conditions, you have to write an interpolation functions using the values from the CSV file, so the local node can use those interpolated boundary values to start the modeling. This will guarantee the compatibility in the geometries of model. You can use the INP file to simplify this process and do it automatically in the importing boundary conditions and modeling.
