I am passing 0.5 ul of toluene at 100 ml flow rate and 80 degrees, through ceramic honeycomb monolith and at room temperature there is no peak observed. When the temperature is raised to 80 degrees we get a broad adsorption peak, further increase in temperature gives a small peak which might be due to desorption as analysed in GC (FID detector). What might be the possible reason for these peaks.
