I induced the preadipocyte after they reached 100% confluency. Then, I treated them with differentiation medium (hg DMEM 10% FBS, 1X P/S, IBMX 0.5mM, Dex 1uM, and Insulin 10 ug/ml) for 2 days. Subsequently, I maintained them with maintenance medium for 5 days now (hg DMEM, 10% FBS, P/S, and Insulin 5 ug/ml). I have attached a picture from day 5. Are the small, light-reflecting droplets lipids? Are they differentiating? Should I continue to keep them in maintenance media for longer?
