Hi Joshua Henrina , I agree with you. I never came across such information where ZOI has been categorized into very strong, strong, medium, or no response. It doesn't make sense to me as it will vary with almost all antibiotics. So, it can't be a definite classification. CLSI provides only 3 classifications for selected antibiotics against Quality control bacteria. Based on that, we can differentiate between Resistant, Intermediate, and Susceptible microbes. If we can't find an antibiotic in the CLSI guideline, then you compare your data with Quality control strain data. That's all.

Joshua Henrina, actually the antibiotices in this paper were classified acording to CLSI inTable 2D that was classified the Enterococcus spp acording to zone diameter breakpoints to Resistant, Intermediate Resistant and Susceptible so we depended on this reference. thank you for your comments, i will be glad if you have any recommended
