We have Zoe cell imager from Bio-Rad that we are mostly happy with, but most of the time it refuses to save files to USB sticks unless they are completely empty (complaining that they are full even if they're not). As long as all files are exported in one go it works fine, but adding an extra file in a second export doesn't work.
We have been in contact with Bio-Rad, and they claim nothing is wrong with it, so now I'm just curious if anyone else is having this problem with the Zoe?
Hi, I never had that issue. I have used several memory sticks (not empty) ti save my images. Did you tried with different brands?
Xochitl Ambriz Peña Yes, several. We're trying to figure out if there's a pattern to it but so far we haven't been able to make sense of it.
Have you tried to shift the data within USB stick into an another folder before new data export? May be the data is exported with the same index and having already exported files causes an error to prevent data loss and overwriting? Just a speculation...
Eugen Werwein That's an interesting suggestion, but probably not the main issue at least as any file at all saved on the disk seems to hinder data export.
I also have a Zoe imager and I am also experiencing this issue. Renaming the directory or burying the default export folder doesn't address the issue. Bio-Rad technical support notes that other people have reported this issue, and I am working with them to try and troubleshoot the issue.
Jacob VanderBurgh I'd be very interested in hearing whatever solution you find (or don't find). We have been in contact with technical support, but so far have had to rely on work-arounds.
