Can anyone please explain what is a fermentaion medium and a yeast suspension and how to make them? I have attached the paper that these two are mentioned and I have highlighted them in the text.

Fermentation medium is the substrate which a microorganism biotransforms by means of its biocatalysis mechanism to produce a new biochemical product while a yeast suspension is the fermentation broth on which the microorganism grow while the fermentation process proceeds. Preparing a yeast suspension for instances yeast extract, you can obtain information from a purchase pack of the yeast extract. There you are told what quantity to weigh and dissolve in knowed quantity of water before sterilization using an autoclave. Besides, for a fermentation medium preparation, the concentration of the substrate is first determine while it is dilute to your choice of concentration using the serial dilution formular of C1V1= C2V2.
