I am trying to fit O1s photoelectron data of SAM on top of ITO substrate using multiple peaks. I use software XPSPEAK41. My problem is: 1 of these peaks should be asymmetric. I am trying to use asymmetry parameter "- 0.2". However, the software gives me options to adjust "TS" parameters between "0-1" or "0.01-200".
Can anyone explain to me, what does TS mean, and how it correlates with asymmetry parameter ? I also don't know, why there are 2 ranges for the same TS parameter. The only tutorial I can find do not explain this asymmetry parameter enough.

If you adjust the lorentzian - Gaussian % at 0 rather than 80 % you can get your expected results.

Hi, Andika, you ca nalso use two symmetric peaks (Lorentzian) to create an asymmetric peak.
