This issue needs to be clarified urgently.
In Saudi Arabia the lock down has resulted in depletion of medications. There is no warfarin available. Antimicrobials are in very short supply. Shipping charges have increased significantly. The situation is likely to be similar in other countries. We must urgently determine which medications are effective for this condition to avoid wastage.

It's first the case of governmental organisations. It's also the case of retailers and e-tailers. They are willing to find out how Covid-19 is influencing the buyer-supplier relationship, in particular from the suppliers of masks or from the suppliers of hydroalcoholic solution.

The procurement of hand sanitizers, N95 face masks, surgical masks and other related PPE has become challenging as a result of the COVOD 19 pandemic. We are involved in International sourcing of these products from Australia, New Zealand, China, United Kingdom and many other countries overseas.
The current lock down and closing of borders has had an impact on the supply chain of the various pharmaceuticals. There has been an increase in demand for products such as hand sanitizers, N95 face masks, surgical masks, medical gowns and other related PPE. These products are required for preventive measures use as well as to prepare for treatment of COVID 19 patients.
The organization I work for has noted the frequent increase in prices sometimes on a daily basis. Transportation of these products by air freight is also a challenge. The ministry I work for are negotiating with Government for a possibility of a chartered plane. Consolidated procurement for countries in the South Pacific Region is also being pursued to mitigate challenges of freight and fluctuations in prices.
