I want to run a flow simulation on a wind turbine in Ansys CFX .The wind turbine has to maintain a constant rpm and for that the blade pitch needs to change simultaneously as the incoming wind speed is changing (A UDF for varying wind velocity profile with time is there). My next question is; will dynamic meshing change the forces (lift and drag) on the blade and automatically maintain the rpm (if I provide an UDF that gives a relation between how much pitch angle should change to get the desired rpm). In otherwords, how can i continuously sense the rpm while the simulation is running and change the blade pitch angle accordingly in the same simulation? Will dynamic meshing allow that? In short how to take data from the simulation and use it in that simulation only to govern the motion of another part in that simulation.
