As the title suggests, I am using Ribomax T7 rna production system (promega), the protocol shows that 100ul reaction requires 5-10ug template dna. but i mistakenly put in about 4ug of template DNA in 20ul-reaction.
Will this affect the reaction? Urgently need to know the answer. Thanks

It shouldn't be a big problem. You can get your RNA but as you have more DNA template in the reaction, you may need to remove it either by gel or DNase, depending on your subsequent experiments
