It is highly unlikely that the Ukrainian spring offensive, or any other attempt to assassinate Putin with drones, would further escalate the situation in the current war. The Ukrainian military has not been successful in its offensives against Russian-backed separatist forces, and any attempt to assassinate Putin would likely be met with a strong response from Russia, which could potentially lead to a further escalation of the conflict. It is much more likely that the conflict will continue to be fought through political and diplomatic means, rather than through military action.
