Ethiopia has seen escalated civil war since 2021. Immediately after Ethiopia's PM took over power in 2018, a ceasefire and a peace agreement was signed between Ethiopia and Eritrea ending one of the longest civil wars in the Horn of Africa. However, Abiy forgot peace starts from within. The civil war within Ethiopia has been escalated by Eritrea's support to Ethiopia's army against its own citizens (Ethiopia). Shockingly, despite this escalated civil war, Ethiopia has extended its arm to meddle in another sovereign country's affairs--Somalia. For the first time, a UN member state has recognized Somaliland as a state (which is an autonomous region and Somalia's territory). Forget not the silent war between Ethiopia and Egypt over the Nile River.

To what end, Ethiopia?
