I am curious whether Texas Red (HY-101878) experiences fluorescence quenching at 60°C. Has anyone conducted experiments or have insights into the stability of Texas Red under these conditions?
The fluorescence quantum yield of many fluorophores decreases with increasing temperature due to increased dynamic quenching by solvent molecules or other effects.
Regarding the Texas red (HY-101878, MCE) fluorescence quenching issue you mentioned, our company has not yet conducted stability tests on the dye under high temperature conditions. However, according to experimental data from previous customers, when Texas red was exposed to 60°C for more than half an hour, obvious fluorescence quenching was observed.
The answer to this question comes from MedChemExpress (MCE) Technical Support.
