Will the development of robotics and smart technology solve the problem of dramatically increasing pollution of the natural environment, including pollution of rivers, lakes, seas and oceans?
To the natural environment of rivers, lakes, seas and oceans, increasingly large amounts of industrial wastes and various types of waste are getting into the environment, including non-degradable plastic wastes. There are more and more stains on the assessors, piles of garbage, mainly plastic, which are not biodegradable and pollute the natural environment of flora and fauna of marine and oceanic ecosystems. As a result, the global, international problem of pollution of the seas and oceans is growing, which should be solved systematically at the supra-national level.

No. The current pollution of the planet originäres from many different scources, of which the Produktion OS only one... Plastics is one mayor scources... I do not See that robotics may help in a far distance future...

The problem is not correlated to the technology advancement, but more or less it is correlated to the human behaviour and willingness to save their environment by implying the 4Rs principals.
Robots are expensive machines used to improve business performance so unless regulations and incentives require businesses to achieve sustainable operations they will not help. A couple of examples of areas they have ”novel” benefits:
In farming robots could replace herbicides and pesticides by weeding and applying organic pest control. They could also make fertilizer application much less wasteful eliminating a huge environmental burden of nutrient runoff.
Robots could also help in pollution cleanup since they can work in adverse environments 24hrs a day - still requires huge investment to deliver results.
Like any tech solution to environmental degradation robots are only a benefit where the goal is sustainability. They are no magic bullet.
