Following observations are made about Coronavirus:
1. Coronavirus mainly affect people with low immunity.
2. COVID -19 is associated with increased inflammation, at least in severe cases.
Certain vitamins (and minerals) are considered immune-boosters and have anti-inflammatory properties. Therefore, is it possible that distribution of multi-vitamin (with minerals) tablets on mass scale will reduce Coronavirus infection rate and lessen the severity of disease in infected persons ? Will this measure help in curbing Coronavirus pandemic ?

1.The policy about distribution of vitamins and minerals in large scale require a large randomized clinical to establish its rationale. The trial which at present context yet to be available.
2.Some clinical trial shows benefit from these supplements, but not good enough to fulfill the criteria required to establish as basis for evidence based medicine.
3.The immune boosting effects of the suppliments for sick patients are well known for decades and presumed to be effective in COVID 19 as well. But modern days evidence based medicine is governed by the proof that is applicable for specific diseases /conditions. Not much is known all about Covid19.
So Dear Vishwas Chavan, the answers to your questions will be speculative and academic only. If we follow the science, the answer is: not yet enough evidence is there to follow the suggested recommendations in your question.
