considering the high tecnology that characterizes in this moment the space era, i have a question about the exoplanets and their studies. Now, in space there will be the JWST (James Webb Space Telescope) which will study exoplanets also. In geology is more important the carthography of surfaces for understand their evolution (and the history of the planetary body). With the JWSP will be able to cartograph exoplanets' surfaces?

The JWSP will be better able to tell if an exoplanet exists, and may allow current half-educated guesses as to their size and (if detectable) atmospheric composition to become closer to educated guesses. But at the moment, it is impossible to even be certain whether an exoplanet has a surface, and it would require a network of telescopes scattered across the entire Solar System to even tell if there oceans and continents on it, let alone what they look like. Given a few tens or hundreds of trillions of dollars and a century or so of concerted effort, such a network could be constructed; but by the time it is, the JWSP will seem as antiquated as an astrolabe is to us. So no, it will not give us the answer you are looking for.
The best way to map a planet is to send a probe that orbits around the planet. The exoplanets are too far unfortunately to send any probe at this distance. Best
