Hello
I want to model thermal expansion in abaqus and I wrote usdfld before uexpan subroutine to get the stresses that I want to use in uexpan. The simulation is completely run with subroutine without any warning and error, but when I check the stresses(not in the visualization,the txt file), they are all zero. It seems that abaqus didn't call usdfld it just call uexpan. What is the problem?

Did you use depvar somewhere in your inp file? Otherwise Abaqus may not call your USDFLD because it is not needed anywhere.
